WhatsApp: The 'calling feature' invite is a Scam.

WhatsApp users across the world are being targeted by cyberscammers who are circulating fake messages inviting users to test the new calling feature that fills the phone with dangerous malware.
According to the Daily Star, if users click on the link, they are taken to another website where they are asked to take a survey on behalf of the popular messaging service.
However, the survey forces people to download applications and software that might contain dangerous malware.
WhatsApp has not announced the calling feature officially. However, some users claim to have used it.
Last month there were reports of the voice calling feature being rolled out with some users claiming to have used the feature. The calling feature was introduced on WhatsApp's new build (2.11.508) which was only available on WhatsApp's website at that time.
The report claimed that there would be separate screen each for making voice calls to WhatsApp contacts, call logs and ongoing calls.
Speaking in an industry conference in October 2014, the delay in rolling out voice calling feature was due to technical hurdles that developers were facing, saying that the service had been delayed till Q1 2015.
The voice calling feature brings WhatsApp in direct clash with apps like WeChat, Viber and Line that already allow users to make calls and send messages. WhatsApp is the biggest instant messaging app in the world, with 700 million active users in January 2015.
